What motivates them to succeed? Can they make those around them better? Will they handle the pressure of media scrutiny, fan expectations, locker room pressure, and a big paycheck? MVR can answer these questions and more.

We can develop proprietary predictive models of performance for your organization. There may be very specific offensive and defensive strategies employed within your organization. These strategies may not be fully considered in the implementation of our predictive models based upon our standard set of assessment tools. Thus, it will be necessary to create both assessment tools and proprietary predictive models built specifically for your organization. We will require specific details related to your offensive and defensive production in order to hone in on specific cognitive traits that can be effectively leveraged within this specific context. The predictive model will belong exclusively to your organization. The results of this service will include a proprietary predictive model and will include a validation of on-court, performance production increase relative to current team performance.

Recruiting System Design

In the comprehensive recruit assessment system design and implementation, our goal is to create an easy-to-use, cloud-based recruiting platform whereby high school, club (AAU), and collegiate players will complete cognitive assessments. Performance data from various levels of play will also be collected and stored. The data will be made available to your organization for all players in the database. As these players progress to the collegiate level and become prospective draft picks, your team will have insights on them that no other professional team has. Moreover, significant financial resources are saved in assessing players prior to the draft because of the forward thinking implementation of an advanced recruiting and performance prediction system. A comprehensive draft board with real-time metrics on potential team cognitive functioning (average) and predicted team offensive and defensive production based on player selection(s) will be available.

The purpose of this service is to conduct research and development activities into the abstract reasoning test and mental visualization. The goal is to determine the extent to which abstract reasoning and mental visualization can be enhanced through training. The results of this service include helping players who are currently on contract improve individual performance by increasing individual cognitive functions associated with offensive and defensive production statistics. Collectively team performance should increase as well.

Talent Evaluation

In Phase 1 of this service, our goal is to assess the cognitive functioning and motivational orientation of all players in the organization while also collecting in-game performance data through the different seasons. In Phase 2, we will analyze in-game performance data across the previous and current seasons and seek to provide additional converging evidence from the previous season. Results from this project will assist in optimizing in-game performance of players using previously unknown relations.
